Chaplain Nancy Abbott
Nancy Abbott has served as Chaplain for the Greater YMCA of San Antonio for 10+ years. Her career started in the YMCA years ago, developing a Senior Adult program for the Dallas Metropolitan YMCA. She then served in local churches in California, Illinois, and Texas for the next 20 years. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Gerontology from Bowling Green State University, followed by a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary. Nancy enjoys her new English Springer, Chara, along with her Quarter Horse, Daisy. She also enjoys kayaking, swimming, biking, and hiking with her husband Ben.
